Return & Exchange Policy
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, simply return or exchange it within 30 days. Our return and exchange policy timelines begin when your purchase is available for shipment or pickup.
What products are not eligible for return and exchange?
1. Orders outside of our 30-day return policy (including lay-bys).
2. Jewelry that have been resized or modified (modifications including and not limited to engravings).
3. Items that have been previously exchanged.
4. Custom designed jewelry.
5. Any orders that were altered while in process.
Instructions for Returns & Exchanges:
1. Email Us at ad@astraeadiamonds.com - we will respond with a return shipping authorisation number and provide the appropriate return shipping label.
2. Pack your jewelry - the jewelry must be packed in the original packaging.
3. Make sure any promotional gift(s) with purchases are included.
4. Seal the box and mark out any old addresses or bar codes.
5. Write your shipping authorisation number on the outside of the box (information can be found in your return confirmation email).
6. Obtain a receipt from the courier to confirm that the item has been shipped - this receipt act as proof of insurance. Astraea Diamonds and the shipping courier of choice are not responsible for packages left if drop boxes or non-staffed locations.
Refunds
Once your order is returned, our Quality Assurance team will receive and inspect your item(s) to ensure they are in unworn condition and verify that all promotional gift(s) and relevant certificates/valuations with your purchase are present before issuing a refund. This process will require 7-10 business days. You will be notified of the outcome once the return has been assessed.
The Company reserves the right to refuse or accept the returned item(s) based on our assessment of their condition and adherence to the policy guidelines.
Refund FAQs
How long will it take to process my refund?
Your refund will be processed approximately 5 business days after our Quality Assurance team has assessed the returned product.
How will I receive my refund?
Your refund will be issued back to the method of payment used in the original purchase, or by check if the original payment method was bank wire, cash, or any other payment requiring special processing. If the original method of payment was a credit card, you will see the refund reflected on your account within the next 4-7 business days. International purchases will be refunded in AUD according to the exchange rate at time of purchase. Astraea Diamonds is not responsible for differences in foreign currency refund amounts due to exchange rate fluctuations between the time of purchase and refund. Astraea Diamonds is not responsible for any foreign exchange or other fees that are charged by the customer’s financial institution.
Do I need to include the return shipping authorisation number for return?
Yes. Packages received without a return shipping authorisation number will not be accepted for refund. Return shipping authorisations are active for seven days from the date of issue and packages must be shipped during the active time period of your return shipping authorisation.
30 Day Return Policy
In this 30 Day Money Back Guarantee:
We, us, or our means Pugster Pty Ltd trading as Astraea Diamonds (ACN 649 654 311) and our contact details are set out at the end of this Guarantee; You, or your means the individual purchaser of the Item; Custom Made means where any part or any feature of the item has been altered, customised or modified from the original design, including engraving, re-sizing (either as part of the purchase or after);
Eligible Item means the item supplied to you by us on purchases under $10,000 including GST, and which meet all the following criteria:
(a) the item is in unworn and unused condition with all original certificates;
(b) the item is not Custom Made; and
(c) the Eligible Item does not exceed the Claim Limit
(d) item(s) is be paid in full at the time of purchase and collected within thirty (30) days of notification by an Astraea Diamonds representative
(e) where any certified natural gemstone in the item meets our following quality standards:
no brown, green or milky tinges;
Certified Round Diamonds have the following grades: i. Cut: Excellent (EX), Ideal ii. Polish: Excellent (EX) iii. Symmetry: Excellent (EX)
Certified Fancy Shaped Diamonds have the following grades: i. Polish: Excellent (EX) to Very Good (VG) ii. Symmetry: Excellent (EX) to Very Good (VG)
Sale items, Infinity Rings and items paid for via Payment Plans are excluded from this Guarantee. Any fees paid for Fast Track services applied toward the purchase will not be refunded.
1 Guarantee
1.1 We provide this Guarantee to you in addition to any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law (Consumer Law Rights) or any other Warranty provided to you pursuant to the Terms and Conditions.
1.2 Our Guarantee is valid for 30 days from the date you collect the Eligible Item from us, subject to our Fair Use Policy below.
1.3 We reserve the right to amend or cancel the terms of this Guarantee without notice. Any valid claims submitted in accordance with clause 3 of this document at the time of any cancellation will be honoured by us.
1.4 For the avoidance of doubt, this Guarantee does not apply to where there are defects in the Eligible Item.
2 Eligibility and Participation
2.1 The Guarantee is only open to individuals who are Australian residents and is subject to our Fair Use Policy below. Corporations, companies, body corporate bodies, groups, organisations and any other corporate bodies and non-corporate bodies are not eligible to participate.
2.2 To be eligible to claim a refund under this Guarantee, you must have purchased an Eligible Item from 15 September 2025 onwards from us.
2.3 In order to be eligible for the Guarantee, you must submit a valid claim in accordance with these terms.
3 Making a valid Guarantee claim
3.1 To be eligible to claim the benefit of this Guarantee, you must:
(a) notify us by calling or emailing us within 30 days from the date of receipt or collection of the Eligible Item from us of your intention to make a Guarantee claim together with a clear and legible photo of the purchase receipt (Proof of Purchase) for the Eligible Item.
(b) purchased item(s) ready for collection must be collected within thirty (30) days of notification by an Astraea Diamonds representative. Failure to collect the item(s) within this thirty (30) day period will result in the item(s) becoming ineligible for return under the Return Policy.
(c) the claim will be handled by our Quality Control department with the process requiring 7-10 business days. You will be notified of the outcome once the Eligible Item has been assessed.
(d) if your claim is valid, you must then return the Eligible Item together with all packaging, parts, accessories and documentation to the contact details set out below
(e) you must provide any other information reasonably required by us to assess your claim; and
(f) you must be compliant with our Fair Use Policy.
3.2 Where you return the Eligible Item as part of the claim under clause 3.1, you are fully responsible for any associated costs of you returning the Eligible Item to us.
3.3 We reserve the right, at any time, to validate and check the authenticity of your claim. We also reserve the right to reject any claim we deem reasonably fraudulent.
3.4 In order for your claim to be approved, your Eligible Item is to be in brand new condition without any damages as determined by us.
4 Fair Use Policy
4.1 A maximum limit of [1] claims on Eligible Items per customer per calendar year are permitted under this Guarantee (Claims Limit). We are entitled to assess your claim for compliance with the Claims Limit and retain the full discretion to reject any claims for Eligible Items where you have exceeded the Claims Limit.
4.2 Purchasing multiple similar items with the intention of comparing them and returning one or more is not permitted. Any such purchases identified under this behavior may result in the rejection of your return request(s). We retain full discretion to assess whether a return violates this policy.
4.3 Nothing in this clause affects your Consumer Law Rights or any other Warranty provided to you pursuant to the Terms and Conditions.
5 Refund Process
5.1 Refunds will be issued by Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) via a third party. You are responsible for and must ensure that all personal details provided, including bank account details and full name are correct. Payments to wrongly nominated bank accounts will be your sole responsibility and may not be refunded or repaid. We will not be responsible for a banking institution rejecting an EFT payment, or any costs associated with locating any lost monies.
5.2 Please allow approximately 5 business days from the time we assess your claim as being valid for payment of the refund to be made.
6 General
6.1 This Guarantee is only valid and enforceable in Australia. No third party reliance: The benefit of this Guarantee is for you only, and no other person or third party can rely on or make a claim under this Guarantee.
6.2 No Assignment or transfer: This Guarantee or the benefit under this Guarantee cannot be assigned or transferred to any other person or third party.
6.3 Severance: If any provision (or part of it) under this Guarantee is held to be unenforceable or invalid in any jurisdiction, then it will be interpreted as narrowly as necessary to allow it to be enforceable or valid. If a provision (or part of it) under this Guarantee cannot be interpreted as narrowly as necessary to allow it to be enforceable or valid, then the provision (or part of it) must be severed from this Guarantee and the remaining provisions (and remaining part of the provision) of this Guarantee are valid and enforceable.
